Technical Track: System Admin + Hierarchy Development (back to back over 1 week)
Hands-on technical course that combines elements of both hierarchy development and system administration classes. Installation of Aegis' Discoverant components and establishing data source connectivity is combined with system administration tasks, such as creating users and modifying system server settings. Student then goes on to create a basic hierarchy based on a simple manufacturing ‘recipe.’ Troubleshooting hierarchies and creating Analysis Groups are also practiced. Please note that this track excludes the PRIMR course.
User Track: Basic User + Advanced User (back to back over 1 week)
This course focuses on both basic and advanced concepts that provide detailed instruction on the uses of Aegis' Discoverant. Training includes Quality Monitor, Statistics, Curve Metrics, Visual Process Signature, Multi Phase Analysis, Plotting, AG Creation, and Table View. This class offers extensive hands-on exercises to allow the student to immediately begin using Discoverant for overall process monitoring and improvement activities.
Criteria:
- Need at least 2 students enrolled to hold the class
- Courses will be open to non Discoverant users / license holders as well as current customers
