Robert M. Di Scipio, President and CEO , has more than 22 years of leadership experience in business development, sales management, corporate law, and debt and equity finance, including executive positions with biotechnology, software and technology companies. Mr. Di Scipio is the founder of Skyland Capital, a late stage venture capital firm. His biotechnology career includes Martek Biosciences (NASDAQ:MATK), where he served as Vice President, Business Development and Associate General Counsel and was a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to Martek, Mr. Di Scipio was Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel and Secretary for OmegaTech, where as a member of the Executive Committee, he managed legal affairs, Asia/Pacific sales, the Gold Circle Farms consumer brand, intellectual property strategy and licensing, debt and equity financings and negotiated the company’s merger with Martek. Earlier in his career, Mr. Di Scipio was managing partner of the Connecticut law firm Hawthorne, Ackerly & Dorrance and an attorney with Coopers & Lybrand. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Barofold, which licenses its drug development technology to leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and ePals, a provider of email and Internet-filtering technology to the education market . Mr. Di Scipio received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Pace University. He is a member of the bars of New York and Connecticut.

Justin O. Neway, Ph.D., Founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Science Officer has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing, and in the application of software solutions to regulatory, quality and operational issues in process manufacturing. Prior to joining Aegis, Dr. Neway was Director of Fermentation R&D at Somatogen, a biotechnology manufacturer. He was the Project Leader for several technical teams, one of which developed a demonstration system for data analysis and visualization of batch process information. This system was fundamental in quickly identifying and resolving costly process variability and other manufacturing problems. During his seven years at Somatogen, Dr. Neway held increasingly responsible management positions including Director of Process Sciences. He was an active member of the management team during the company's successful IPO. For eight years prior to this, he was a Department Director, Project Leader, Technical Manager and Scientist at Chiron Corporation and Genetics Institute, Inc. Dr. Neway received his B.Sc. (Microbiology, 1975) and M.Sc. (Biochemistry, 1977) from the University of Calgary, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois in 1982. He graduated from the two-year Business Professionals Course (BPC) in 1997, and was a participant in the Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Power program (LEIP) in 1998. Dr. Neway has published in scientific journals, presented technical papers and chaired technical conferences in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing and data analysis.

Geri L. Studebaker, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, has over 12 years of experience in software marketing and applications. Ms. Studebaker joins Aegis with a broad range of experience in technology companies and extensive knowledge of the various disciplines within marketing. Prior to joining Aegis, Ms. Studebaker was Sr. Director of Worldwide Marketing for Webb Interactive, an e-business software provider for the small to medium-size business. There she successfully managed overall product re-design and company positioning efforts. Prior to Webb, Ms. Studebaker held several positions within JD Edwards, the most recent being Sr. Marketing Manager. As project lead for Knowledge Management, Ms. Studebaker developed and managed the entire product lifecycle, from initial product concept and proposal through development efforts, product positioning and ultimately global rollout. Ms. Studebaker holds a BS in Corporate Finance from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA and MS in Marketing from the University of Colorado.

Joe Rothman, Vice President of Professional Services. Mr. Rothman has three decades of experience in the computer industry, including product design and development, product management, sales and sales management, project and program management, technology consulting and management consulting.  Mr. Rothman worked at Digital Equipment Corporation for 18 years in a number of roles, including development of Digital's management consulting practice.  Over the past decade, Mr. Rothman has provided services to FDA regulated companies in the Medical Device and Life Sciences sectors.  Recent work includes assisting pharmaceutical manufacturers with software search and selection for manufacturing data analysis solutions, multi-site implementations of MES systems, development of Knowledge Management strategies, and development of governance capabilities for distributed applications.  Mr. Rothman holds BS degrees in Chemistry and Management from M.I.T., and a Masters degree in Management from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T.  He is a member of the adjunct faculty of the University of Denver .

Mike Hagedorn, Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Hagedorn has over 20 years experience as an Information Systems professional, much of that spent in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical manufacturing environments. His past consulting experiencing includes Big 6, regional, and local consulting. Mike is a certified SAP Basis administrator, Electronic Commerce expert, Certified Information Warehouse developer, certified DBA, Microsoft MCSE, and a certified CISCO engineer.

Kevin Hocum, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hocum has over 25 years experience in Senior Management and Accounting positions in the construction and manufacturing industries. He was the CFO and a director of The Electron Corp., a national cast iron foundry, for 5 years. He currently serves as a director for 2 international real estate and golf course development corporations. He received a Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance from Metropolitan State College.
